I’m Steve, a left handed American engineer and musician born in East Point, Georgia (US).  I work as an App developer,  musician and QA contractor.  You may know me better by the handle and artist name “DivertigO”

On 11/15/24, I performed a set for an annual streaming show called Bit Scape 2024.  Check it out here.  I used a guitar and an old computer that can only play three notes at a time (three channels.. or three “oscillators”).  I use the old computer (C-64) as an instrument and then play some 3-channel compositions off of old floppy disks, since it’s real music data that would have run on it in 1982.

It’s a nostalgia trip, but I moreso like working within limitations and with cool groups.  With deadlines, so things get finished.

I’ve played, recorded and published prog rock-ish music under the “DivertigO” moniker for much of my life.  There’s some of that on Soundcloud.  This is “normal” music.. not limited to 3 notes.
